Feed Ingredient Trading Corp. Celebrates 25 Years

Monday, May 20, 2013

May 20 is a significant date for Feed Ingredient Trading Corp.  On that date the company will have been in the business of serving the needs of the feed milling industry, particularly here in the northeast, for 25 full years.  All those many years ago, Feed Ingredient Trading began operations in a small 3 person office above a small liquor store in Delmar, New York.  Partners Tom O’Connell, Rich Casler, and one secretary began servicing the needs of the northeast feed milling market.  We knew if things didn’t go well, it was just a short hop downstairs to find relief in libations for sale there!!  But, all in all, things worked, the business grew, and we became a factor in the supply chain of feed ingredients to the feed milling industry here in the east.  Over the years we have grow to thirteen and cover markets from Maine to Florida and west to the Dakotas, and Minnesota.  We are proud to be a respected supplier of quality feed grains and ingredients to the US livestock feeding markets and look forward to another quarter of a century in servicing this industry.
